Zusammenfassung
Ein EEG wurde bereits vor vielen Jahrzehnten am Menschen erstmals registriert (Berger 1929). Als neurophysiologische Methode wurde es jedoch erst einige Jahre später akzeptiert, nachdem Bergers Beobachtungen 1934 durch E. D. Adrian bestätigt wurden (Adrian u. Matthews 1934).
