Abstract

The piracy of digital assets such as software, images, video, audio and text has long been a concern for owners of these assets. Protection of these assets is usually based upon the insertion of digital watermarks into the data. Proving ownership rights, authenticity and origin on outsourced relational databases is a crucial issue in internet-based application environments and in many content distribution applications. This paper is an approach towards watermarking audio databases for tamper detection.
