Intracranial Space-Occupying Lesions

Congenital cerebral tumours are extremely rare; they are defined as the tumours observed in the antenatal period or in the first 2 months of life. They account for 0.5 %–1.5 % of cerebral tumours in children [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. The occurrence rate is approximately 0.34 per million live births [6, 7].
