Abstract
As the term implies, object movies are a type of movie, whereby various vantage points of the object are played back in succession. Depending on the position of the observer’s mouse, the images move in a forward or backward direction. The individual pictures are saved as a filmstrip such that the next respective angle of view of the object is displayed. This gives the observer the impression that they are rotating the object themselves. In multi-row object movies, the pictures can be tilted as well.
