Zusammenfassung

Gewebeinfektionen oder Haut-Weichteil-Infektionen sind ein Sammelbegriff für Infektionen des gesamten Hautinteguments einschließlich der Subkutis und der Muskulatur inklusive ihrer Faszienhüllen. Auch Infektionen im mediastinalen Raum (Mediastinitis) und retroperitoneale Infektionen müssen diesem Sammelbegriff zugeordnet werden. Aufgrund der großen Vielfalt des klinischen Erscheinungsbildes lassen sich Haut-Weichteil-Infektionen unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten einteilen. Eine Gliederung ist nach folgenden Aspekten möglich:

  • - anatomische Strukturen,

  • - Einteilung nach Erregern,

  • - Dringlichkeit der Versorgung,

  • - Ausmaß der Infektion.
