Abstract
An estimation of processing times in LCP requires the knowledge of reaction rates. In this chapter we shall outline some fundamentals of the kinetics and mass transport of laser-induced chemical reactions, with special emphasis on heterogeneous reactions at gas–solid interfaces (Fig. 1.2.1).
