Zusammenfassung
Funktionsstörungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes treten häufig als unerwünschte Begleiterscheinungen bei kritisch kranken Patienten auf. Fehlende Mobilisation, unphysiologische Ernährung oder der Einfluss diverser Medikamente können zu einer verzögerten Magen-Darm-Passage beim Intensivpatienten führen. Dabei spielt der gastroösophageale Reflux im Bereich des oberen Gastrointestinaltraktes eine wesentliche Rolle, generell gilt der paralytische Ileus als eine der Hauptkomplikationen bei Intensivpatienten und im Bereich des unteren Gastrointestinaltraktes die intestinale Pseudoobstruktion. Die intraabdominelle Druckerhöhung bis hin zum intraabdominellen Kompartment spielt bei einigen Erkrankungen eine wesentliche Rolle und bedarf einer schnellen Therapie.
