Zusammenfassung

Die Implantation einer Großzehengrundgelenksendoprothese erfordert neben einer exakten präoperativen Planung (Implantatgröße, additive Eingriffe wie zusätzliche Korrekturosteotomien, Weichteilbilanzierung) eine subtile Weichteil- und Knochenpräparation. Abgesehen von der Vorbereitung des Knochenlagers und der Implantation der Prothesenkomponenten sind die suffiziente Weichteildeckung der Endoprothese durch Rekonstruktion der dorsalen Gelenkkapsel, des Sehnengleitlagers und der spannungsfreie Hautverschluss wesentliche operationstechnische Voraussetzungen für den Behandlungserfolg.
