Multi-Term Caputo Fractional Differential Equations

Part of the Lecture Notes in Mathematics book series (LNM,volume 2004)

Abstract

In the previous chapter we have taken a very detailed look at initial value problems for differential equations with one differential operator of Caputo’s type. This chapter forms the basis of an analytical theory for equations with more than one of these operators. It turns out that such equations pose a number of new challenges. We provide here results concerning the existence and uniqueness of solutions and their structural stability.
