Zusammenfassung

Kinder erkunden mit zunehmendem Alter ihre Umgebung und können deren vielfältige Gefahren noch nicht adäquat einschätzen. Weichteilverletzungen jeglicher Art kommen in häuslicher Umgebung alltäglich vor und sind in einer Notfallstation an der Tagesordnung. Eine echte Häufigkeit ist nicht zu eruieren, da viele kleine Verletzungen zu Hause durch die Familie und Betreuende behandelt werden. Die größeren Verletzungen werden im Allgemeinen von einem Arzt diagnostiziert und behandelt oder an die entsprechenden Kliniken weitergeleitet.
