Zusamenfassung

Das primäre Ziel der operativen Therapie des Mammakarzinoms ist die Sicherung der lokalen Tumorkontrolle im Bereich der Brust und der Lymphabflusswege. Die Rate an lokalen und lokoregionären Rezidiven wird aber auch von der Strahlentherapie und der systemischen Behandlung beeinflusst. Daher muss das operative Behandlungskonzept in eine multimodale Therapiestrategie eingebunden werden. Eine gute Abstimmung der verschiedenen Behandlungsoptionen im Rahmen von interdisziplinären Fallkonferenzen ist dabei erforderlich.
