Abstract
The terminology used here conforms to the “Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement” (GUM) that has been published by ISO on behalf of various international organisations (BIPM, IEC, IFCC, ISO, IUPAC, IUPAP, OIML). The same terminology is used in the OIML recommendation R 111, which applies the general rules of the GUM to the calculation of the uncertainties of weights of classes E1 to M3.
