Abstract
In this chapter we shall review theWeyl-Hörmander pseudodifferential calculus (see Hörmander [29]; see also Hörmander [27]), in which we shall “embed” the “global” one (see Helffer [17] and Shubin [67]), to be recalled in Section 3.2. In section 3.3 we shall describe a few spectral properties of globally elliptic pseudodifferential operators.
