Zusammenfassung

In der Diagnostik ist die Handgelenkarthroskopie anderen Verfahren wie Kernspintomografie und Arthrografie überlegen. Die gleichzeitige Möglichkeit zum therapeutischen Eingreifen macht die Handgelenkarthroskopie zum unentbehrlichen Instrument der Diagnostik und Therapie in handchirurgischen Zentren. Die diffizile Technik mit langer Lernkurve sowie ökonomisch-organisatorische Zwänge haben den Einsatz als Routineinstrumentarium in Krankenhäusern bislang nicht erlaubt.
