Abstract
Sure enough, DICOM is all about digital imaging in medicine, and PACS is all about DICOM. But in addition to PACS, there is a whole world of DICOM-driven applications out there, and it is definitely worth looking at. I randomly picked a few for this chapter, just to give you an idea of their variety.
