Zusammenfassung

Die aktuellen Therapieoptionen der niedrig malignen Keimzelltumoren nach einer Semikastration sind die »active surveillance «, Chemotherapie oder retroperitoneale Lymphadenektomie (RPLND). Die offene RPLND stellt bis heute den chirurgischen Goldstandard dar. Diskutiert werden muss aber die signifikante perioperative Morbidität bei diesem Eingriff und die relativ lange Rekonvaleszenz der Patienten. Die laparoskopische retroperitoneale Lymphadenektomie wurde als mögliche Alternative zur offenen Operation entwickelt.
