Zusammenfassung
Die ambulant erworbenen Pneumonien (AEP) (auch CAP = community acquired pneumonias) sind definiert bei Patienten ohne Abwehrschwäche, wobei sie frühestens vier Wochen nach der Entlassung aus dem Krankenhaus aufgetreten sein müssen. Ausgenommen ist die Pneumonie bei terminal kranken Menschen (◉ Tab. 22.1).
