Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel gibt einen Überblick über den Übertragungsstandard Near Field Communication (NFC). Zunächst erfolgt eine Einführung in die Normierungsaktivitäten. Anschließend wird das Zusammenspiel bestehender Standards und Protokolle mit den weiterführenden Spezifikationen des NFC Forums betrachtet. Die einzelnen Kommunikationsarten, sowie die Maßnahmen zur Auswahl eines passenden NFC-Betriebsmodus werden im Detail erklärt. Ein Ausblick auf die Sicherheitsaspekte der NFC-Technologie bildet den Abschluss des Kapitels.
