Zusammenfassung
Das Kapitel behandelt die histologische Struktur der Mamma, wobei insbesondere auf die funktionellen Besonderheiten und die Brustdrüsenentwicklung unter dem Blickwinkel der radiologischen Darstellung, der Rezeptorexpression und der immunhistochemischen Charakterisierung des Epithels eingegangen wird. Außerdem werden im Detail die fibrozystische Mastopathie und die ihr assoziierten Läsionen wie duktale Adenose und reaktiver Spindelzellknoten dargestellt. Schließlich wird zur Interpretation der minimal-invasiven Biopsie Stellung genommen.
