Das Kapitel beschreibt die Anatomie und Physiologie der Leberdurchblutung, angeborene und erworbene Erkrankungen der Lebergefäße, pathologische Veränderungen der Lebergefäße bei akuten und chronischen Lebererkrankungen sowie die Auswirkungen systemischer Erkrankungen auf die Leber und Zirkulationsstörungen. Die Darstellung erfolgt differenziert für Pfortader, Leberarterie, Sinusoide und Lebervenen.
