Abstract

Complementary and alternative therapies are often used in paediatric oncology to complement children’s conventional cancer treatments. In rare cases, they may also be used as an alternative to conventional therapy. There are published studies from several parts of the world analysing different aspects of CAM use in paediatric cancer patients. The main issues examined are:
