Zusammenfassung

Im allgemeinen Teil werden Klinik, Epidemiologie, Ätiologie, Pathogenese und diagnostische Verfahren (Stereotaxie, Immunhistochemie, Molekularpathologie) von Tumoren des Nervensystems besprochen. Daran schließt sich eine detaillierte Darstellung der makroskopischen, histologischen und molekularen Pathologie der einzelnen Tumortypen an, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Diagnostik liegt. Das Kapitel schließt mit Paraneoplasien und Therapie-induzierten Schäden des Gehirns.
