Abstract
Adıyaman, the cradle of the oldest civilizations in history, is among the most important provinces in Turkey. Especially, on the Nemrut Mountain in Kahta District, the graves, temples and the statues of kings are extremely interesting. The Nemrut Mountain National Park and the summit of Nemrut Mountain is a charming place in the province with its impressive silhouette, natural beauty and historical assets. It has a unique pastoral beauty, where the sunrises and sunsets are the best in the world. This place is considered the eighth wonder of the world, a heavenly throne of the gods, the world’s highest open air museum. The statues themselves are impressive, but the view is the most spectacular, especially in early spring when the plains are full of long grass speckled with the occasional red poppy.
