Abstract
The most important causes of the vesiculobullous and pustular lesions located on the ear include viral and bacterial infections, immunobullous dermatoses, vasculitis and diseases triggered by physical factors. Pressure-related bullae develop easily on the ears. Serous, opaque bullae occurring due to exposure to cold below the freezing point may also be located on this region. This condition is called frostbite and may be accompanied by severe pain. Ethyl chloride sprays used as an anesthetic in the procedure of ear piercing may also cause a similar clinical picture.
