Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff “Hämostase„ subsumiert alle Reaktionen, die zu einer effektiven Blutstillung beitragen. Das Konzept “Hämostaseologie„ umfasst sowohl das Hämostasesystem im engeren Sinne, also die Thrombozyten, das plasmatische Gerinnungssystem und das Fibrinolysesystem, als auch die Gefäßwand und die Blutzirkulation. Eine lokale Blutung mit Durchtrennung von Blutgefäßen wird unter physiologischen Bedingungen durch einen Blutgerinnungspfropf unter Beteiligung der verschiedenen Komponenten des Hämostasesystems verschlossen. Unter pathologischen Bedingungen kann es auch intravasal zur Entstehung von Zellaggregaten sowie fibrinreichen Gerinnseln und damit zur Beeinträchtigung der Fluidität des Blutes und schließlich zu einer Thrombose kommen.
