Abstract
The Virtual Car Process comprises all activities required to structure, build and test computer-internal representations of motorized vehicles – so-called virtual cars. Containing both geometric and functional data, virtual cars are not only the basis to facilitate decentralized design in context but are also the most important lever to increase efficiency in vehicle development.
