Detection and Following of a Face in Movement Using a Neural Network

  • Chapter
The Sixth International Symposium on Neural Networks (ISNN 2009)

Abstract

In this paper, a system that uses smaller time in the detection of one person in one environment with controlled light is proposed. To reach this result the following 3 steps are used: 1) Detection of the movement; this fact consist in detecting the object (the object is a person); 2) Detecting of the face, the face is found in one image in movement, considering a camera and a fuzzy neural network. 3) Detecting of the person in movement. The camera is moved in the direction of the person in movement using the prediction of the position using the Kalman filter algorithm. This system is implemented in real time.
