Zukunftsorientierter Wandel im Krankenhausmanagement

Der demografischen Entwicklung der Gesellschaft, dem medizinischtechnischen Fortschritt und auch dem gesellschaftlichen Wertewandel stehen begrenzte Ressourcen für die Gesundheitsversorgung gegenüber. Gesetzgeberische Reformbemühungen sind daher primär darauf ausgerichtet, die Produktivität innerhalb der Gesundheitsversorgung zu erhöhen, bei gleichzeitiger Sicherung der Behandlungsqualität. Die fortwährenden eformaktivitäten der jeweiligen Gesetzgeber und die daraus resultierenden, veränderten Rahmenbedingungen stellen die Akteure im Krankenhausmarkt fortwährend vor neue Herausforderungen. Zentraler Antreiber dieses Wandels sind in der stationären Versorgung die geänderten Anreize, die durch die prospektive Vergütung über DRG-Fallpauschalen in vielen europäischen Ländern gesetzt wurden (vgl. Schreyögg et al. 2006). Für Krankenhäuser ergibt sich daraus in vielerlei Hinsicht Handlungsbedarf. Es werden notwendige Strukturen und Prozesse zur Kostenkontrolle eingeführt, mit dem Ziel der Effizienzsteigerung bzw.
