Abstract
In this work, cardiomyocytes were cultured in microelectrode array (MEA) wells and the electrical activity is measured and recorded periodically during cardiomyocyte maturation. Beat-to-Beat (BB) intervals were calculated as well as their means and standard deviations (SD). Beating rate variations were analyzed according to culture medium change and cardiomyocyte maturation stage as well as with the effects of cardiac drugs administered during measurements. The results demonstrate distinct changes of average beating rate and SD of the beating rate regarding to different conditions.
