Abstract
Endoscopic techniques are limited to articular spaces (arthroscopy) and other preexisting anatomic spaces (bursae, subacromial space, carpal tunnel). But by adding minimally invasive surgical techniques to endoscopic techniques, it is possible to visualize and treat areas that would not be accessible to endoscopy alone.
