Abstract
How can we deliver more credible and effective conversational interactions between human and machine? The goal of this study is to define the needs and key characteristics of a dialogue before setting these factors against reality and technological advancements in the field of Intelligent Virtual Agents. This is the first step of our research, where we study the importance of the localization of the agent in the context of a human-machine dialogue.
