Abstract

Vertebral neoplasms in the pediatric age group are uncommon and present a significant clinical challenge to the orthopaedic surgeon involved in their diagnosis and management. As most problems in this age group will present with vague symptoms, especially back pain, it should be taken seriously, and the possibility of a tumor should be evaluated in children.
