Maligne Lymphome bei Kindern und Adoleszenten – Besonderheiten und Differenzialdiagnose

Zusammenfassung

Die Diagnostik maligner Lymphome richtete sich bei den meisten der im Kindesalter auftretenden Entitäten nach den gleichen Prinzipien wie im Erwachsenenalter. Es existieren jedoch spezielle Entitäten, die bevorzugt im Kindesalter beobachtet werden. Darüberhinaus bestehen viele Besonderheiten in dieser Altersgruppe im Hinblick auf die Prävalenz bestimmter Entitäten und die differenzialdiagnostische Abgrenzung entzündlicher Erkrankungen und anderer nichtlymphatischer Tumoren. Unter den neoplastischen Erkrankungen im Kindes- und Adoleszentenalter machen lymphatische Neoplasien (Lymphome und Leukämien) etwa 35 % aller Erkrankungen aus. Am häufigsten manifestieren sich diese Neoplasien mit Blut- und Knochenmarksbeteiligung als Leukämien. Etwa ein Drittel der lymphatischen Erkrankungen präsentieren sich jedoch als Tumoren bzw. als Lymphome. Diese vielen diagnostischen Besonderheiten sind in diesem Kapitel aufgenommen und grundsätzlich und detailliert behandelt.
