Abstract

The dynamical properties of baryon resonances produced in pion- and photon induced reactions are discussed within the coupled channel effective Lagrangian Giessen model. From a partial wave analysis, including effects from both the coupled photonic and hadronic channels, we determine the masses and the widths of the baryon resonances. Spin observables are found to play an important role by providing further constraints.Recent results for the eta-meson productions both in pion and photon induced reactions are presented. The importance of channel interference effects from higher order interactions are especially important. The contributions from various baryon resonances are discussed.
