Zusammenfassung
Unter einer intravenösen Anästhesie versteht man eine Anästhesie, die mit einer Kombination aus intravenös verabreichten Substanzen durchgeführt wird. Dabei wird die Anästhesie sowohl intravenös eingeleitet als auch intravenös aufrechterhalten. Es werden kurzwirksame Substanzen verwendet, die zur Aufrechterhaltung kontinuierlich über Spritzenpumpen verabreicht werden. Bei der »target controlled infusion« (TCI) wird computergesteuert so dosiert, dass therapeutische Plasmaspiegel anhand einer Modellberechnung konstant gehalten werden.
