Abstract
Single phase Zn doped lithium ferrite samples are prepared with chemical route at temperatures as low as 500°C. The observed magnetic and Mössbauer results are in accordance with the reported literature. Maximum saturation magnetization of about 74 emu/g is observed for 20% Zn doped lithium ferrite. Super-paramagnetic nature of 80% Zn doped lithium ferrite, prepared with annealing at 500°C is studied with M-T and low temperature Mössbauer measurements.
