Zusammenfassung

Sexuell übertragbare Krankheiten kommen in Westeuropa wieder verstärkt vor. Zu diesen gehört auch die Trichomonadeninfektion. Die verstärkte Zuwanderung aus Gebieten mit hoher Durchseuchung, die gesteigerte Mobilität jedes Einzelnen, aber auch das sinkende Bewusstsein in der Bevölkerung für sexuell übertragbare Krankheiten sowie unzureichende Diagnose- und Therapieangebote für Risikogruppen sind mögliche Ursachen, weswegen diese Infektionen vermehrt auftreten.
