Abstract
Bozen, Florence, Milan... These three locations have shaped Matteo Thun’s life. This architect and designer is now shaping the lives of many travelers. Studio Matteo Thun, located in Milan, has been providing innovative ideas on hotel ambience since 2004. Mövenpick, Radisson SAS, Falkensteiner, NH Hotels and several private hotels — they all commissioned this mid-fifty sensation to design their hotels which are now the talk of the town. And he has been very successful. The Side Hotel Hamburg was nominated for the prestigious “Hotel of the Year 2001” award, the Vigilius Mountain Resort near Meran in South Tirol, Italy, won the “Wallpaper Design Award” in 2004, and the Radisson SAS Frankfurt received a nomination at the Worldwide Hospitality Award in 2005 for “the best hotel opening of the year.”
