Abstract
In recent years, there has been a trend in the area of multi-agent systems to model and reason about complex systems by using appropriate logics.
In this talk, we focus on logics that have been defined to deal with describing and reasoning about groups of agents and their abilities: what are they able to bring about.
Starting from CTL, we discuss ATL and various extensions. We discuss complexity results and, in particular, focus on symbolic representations and their implication for the overall complexity.
We discuss several relatively new ideas to add plausibility operators to ATL, to combine ATL with argumentation theory and to combine branching time logic CTL* with Markov models: Markov Temporal Logic (due to Jamroga).
