Abstract

PPAS is a beverage producer in the Czech Republic. Although PPAS has implemented a standard ERP backend solution for DSD-specific IT support, the execution of the tour itself remained paper based. Struggling with the cost-intensive paper-driven DSD processes, PPAS decided to enhance to a mobile DSD solution to enable automation and to overcome the inefficiencies. In this section, PPAS shows how the respective steps of the classical DSD process are taking place today, and how this will be changed after the go-live of the mobile DSD solution which is currently in implementation.
