Abstract
74 Aqr (=HD 216494) is a stable hierarchical triple system composed by a spectroscopic binary, with HgMn primary, plus a single third component discovered during a speckle interferometric survey carried out by McAlister et al. [6]. The most recent set of parameters for the outer orbit has been given by Mason [4]. The solution for the SB2 pair has been improved recently by Catanzaro & Leto [2] who determined P = 3.429619 ±0.000004 days and M A /M B = 1.186 ±0.005.
