Acreditación de Laboratorios de Ensayos de Equipamiento Electromédico

Abstract

During the past years, the complexity of biomedical technology and the hospital’s facilities have been increased in a great way, becoming in a possible health risk. Biomedical equipment security must be considered an important issue to protect patients and users. Testing laboratories have to assure devices working in optimal performance following local an international normative.

Laboratories should develop his measure activities under a quality manageyment system. This article tries to show the experience of the Biomedical Devices Testing Laboratory in the way to get the accreditation.
