Abstract

In the musculoskeletal system, the spine has the difficult task of ensuring the stability of the trunk and supporting the upper extremity girdles and pelvic girdle. At times, these functions are altered and compromised as a result of degenerative, traumatic, neoplastic and other pathologies.
