Summary
We present the first realistic simulations of how high-redshift star forming galaxies will be observed by MIRI (Mid IR Instrument). The simulations presented have been developed using the new tool Specsim, and are part of an ongoing project aimed at studying a representative sample of Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies (ULIRGs) with integral field spectroscopy (IFS) data.
