Abstract

We developed a system that visualizes how design of interior space affects user’s subjective states when they are communicating personal information on a computer. After measuring the subjective reassurance of users while they were communicating information, we used the results to plot and create personal information spaces. Then the subjective aspects of workspace design were visualized based on these personal information spaces. Designers can intuitively understand the subjective aspects of space design visualized based on a user’s subjective states using our system.
