Der weitaus überwiegende Teil der Gynäkologikaverordnungen entfällt auf die topischen Sexualhormone, die 2006 annähernd konstant blieben. Deutlich rückläufig waren dagegen Antiinfektiva, Uterusmittel und Prolaktinhemmer. Pflanzliche Gynäkologika, deren Wirksamkeit ungenügend belegt ist, sind seit 2005 nicht mehr unter den 3000 verordnunashäufiasten Arzneimitteln vertreten.
