Abstract

Humans, by nature, have always been concerned about their appearance and the effects of aging. In ancient times, various acidic-type washes derived from wine and fruit were used in an attempt to improve damaged skin [1]. The search has continued for these age-defying potions. Over the last century, the quest moved not only into physician’s offices but also into the operating room, where various approaches have been developed.
