Zusammenfassung

Nach Angaben des National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) nehmen bei jungen Menschen im Alter von 15 bis 44 Jahren die psychischen Erkrankungen in ihrer Häufigkeit Platz 4 aller Erkrankungen ein, die zur Behinderung und Einschränkung der Lebensqualität führen. Bis zum Jahr 2020 wird sich der Anteil der psychisch Erkrankten weltweit von derzeit 10,5 % auf 15,0 % erhöhen.
