Abstract
LAMS (learning activity management system) is a very flexible learning design tool. With the combination of LAMS and the content, teachers/lecturers can easily organize the learning activities for the students in e-learning. This paper focuses on the application and functions of LAMS in college and university e-learning. Through formal research and evaluation of the impact of LAMS on e-learning in 3 disciplines (carried out in Huazhong Normal University), the presentation summarizes both the merits and the downsides of the application of LAMS in college & university e-learning and concludes with reflection on how further work will go on.
