Abstract
The problem of the tilt of the Fundamental Plane (FP), i.e. of the apparent departure of the FP from the prediction of Virial Theorem (VT), is a crucial one for the understanding of the physical meaning of the scaling laws that link the global properties of elliptical galaxies.
